Some New small creations

With the kids getting back into town and getting them 'both' registered for school things have been quite crazy around here. I have taken some time to do some creating. Here are the little things I've been doing. I can't wait to get back onto my schedule soon and really go full throttle back into the creative process.

I posted the journal part of this gift set I created for my CTMH Leadership Roomies but this is the complete package they each got. It is a Trash to Treasure (Crystal Light) tube with over 250 journaling prompts, the Journaling Journal - including tabs for each of the subjects I included and a book mark, The Once Upon A Family Traditions booklet - tab included in the journal for this as well and a organza bag complete with 5 tradition starter items.

This is a 3x3 gift card I made using CTMH's Majestic Blue paper pack and the Doodle Alphabet stamp set. I just love the diversity of this paper pack.

This is really a silly card. I took the Cutie Pie paper pack and used it for this card and a modern...what I like to call "IM lingo" saying again a 3x3 gift card.

These are mini composition books that covered. I included some matching golf mini pencils attached with waxy flax. The fun thing is the mini pencils match as I stamped some sticker paper and then adhered it to the pencils. I used liquid glass to pop out the names on the front of the composition books.

Well that is it for now. I hope to delve into some scrapbooking soon.

" Giving Chocolate to others is an intimate form of communication, a sharing of deep dark secrets" ~Milton Zelman

Annual For Sale or Trade Event

So you are probably wondering why I've choose a chocolate theme for my annual big product sale this year...ok maybe you aren't wondering...but I'm gonna let you in on it anyhow.
Dare I say it, but I am not a Chocolate Connoisseur. Now living in a world where 99.99% of the people I come into contact with are CHOCOHOLICS and not being one is like being a an ice cube in the Sahara. You just don't count because your existence is limited anyhow!
I am constantly being given Chocolate and have even hosted a Chocolate More to Adore open house thinking that maybe someone would notice the contradiction...but like I said before, my lack of chocolate appeal is just not memorable.
So with every delectable purchase you will get CHOCOLATE! Yes, purchase even one item at $1 and you will get CHOCOLATE to help you savor the purchase.

Card Sketch Challenge ~ #1 (3rd Submission)

This card was submitted today by Denise. She used CTMH products.

Card Sketch Challenge #1 & Mini Technique Overview

On this card I used all CTMH products: Majestic Blue Paper Pack, The Aug. Stamp of the Month Doodle Alphabet, Dimensional Elements 'Ribbon Slides', White Daisy Organdy Ribbon and Liquid Glass.
On this Ribbon Slide I inked it with Desert Sand ink and then a layer of liquid glass to give it added dimension. I also stamped on the ribbon for a light bit of texture and pop.

There are so many things you can do with the Ribbon Slides. On this card I showed using just ink and liquid glass. However, I did make two other identical samples using ink and liquid glass in different ways to show diversity with these three products.

This is a sample of Faux Leather. I inked the Ribbon Slide very heavily, then put on a thin layer of liquid glass. I let this sit for about 10 min. then peeled the whole thing off. :) Yes peel it off. You should have a inked but ragged Ribbon Slide left. I then added liquid glass back to the ragged top and let it dry for a Faux Leather look to it.

Now this is a very different look and it is still using just liquid glass and ink. However, this time I stamped an image onto the slide. I then put a layer of liquid glass onto it. I let the liquid glass completely dry and then ink distressed the liquid glass layer. I call it shabby chic liquid glass. :)

Hope you enjoyed the mini technique overview. Have fun with your Liquid Glass!
